Bags in the gear room, then a short walk to the first tee.

Day one · 4:10 pm
One foursome, two nights in a Fourball House on the course, and what the stay means for the club. It could be the annual buddies' trip or a midweek client outing. The trip works the same.

Four assigned lockers, a bench for wet shoes, and the clubs don't go back in the trunk until checkout. There's time for a twilight nine.

Nobody has to drive, so nobody leaves early. Whatever got decided on the back nine gets replayed by the fire.

Every suite is the same size, with its own bath and steam shower, so nobody drew the short straw. The range opens at seven.

A club can only have that conversation with people who stayed.

A day trip is one round and a lunch.
For the club
That stay was 54 holes, four meals, two nights at the bar, a stop in the pro shop and a membership conversation.
It doesn't have to be a weekend. Much of destination golf travel is midweek: client outings, sales trips and corporate retreats. Lodging on the course serves both, and with the right structure the club doesn't have to pay for the buildings.

January, back home
So the argument about the fourteenth hole moves to the backyard. A Simulator Studio is the same steel system, built around a full swing, with room for an office, a guest bed or a sauna.

Next spring
At a popular destination course, the beds book up before the tee sheet does, and the overflow rents whatever house it can find down the road. That gap is where purpose-built golf lodging goes, and where outside capital can sit alongside the club.
